NYX Professional Makeup Complete Control Blending Sponge is made out of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) and best used for cream or liquid products.
Retailed at $10 and found in most drugstore aisles where NYX Cosmetics products are sold, my take on this is a NO! NO!
Because of the element it is made out of, the rubber of this product picks up little to none liquid product and don't even attempt to pick up translucent powder, it slides right off.
I wanted to like this sponge so much but I could not achieve the result, pounce and press affect I get with the Real Techniques Beauty blender.
NYX makes some more amazing product tools that I like better, this however was not for me!
